Stories that can win an audience
and make a difference are
founded on experience and insight
Inspired by this concept, former business technology journalist and editor Gavin Clarke creates messages, copy and content that helps individuals and organisations make an impact.
With a deep knowledge of enterprise technology I help clients create stories that matter to their
business – and audiences.
Working in the US and UK as a journalist, I was fascinated by the big systems running business and society so went behind the scenes of corporations and government to meet the people and cover the systems in action.
Transferring from London to San Francisco, I broke big stories during a 10-year period of tremendous disruption in the history of Silicon Valley with the rise of AI, cloud computing, big data platforms, open source, DevOps and software developer ecosystems.
Since moving on from reporting, I’ve devoted my editorial skills to helping commercial clients pin-point newsworthy opportunities to pitch publications and developed a breadth of content targeting business and technology-decision makers.
My work has appeared in major publications in the US, UK and Europe.
When I’m not engaged on the technology of tomorrow, I travel back to the future as an interpretation consultant advising heritage sector clients on IT history.
Success isn’t cookie cutter - I work with clients to tailor messages and stories for audiences spanning
geographies, media and channels.
Go beyond the elevator pitch – I work with business and
technology teams to craft
messages and a vocabulary that catches the customer’s ear.
I translate complex concepts and deep technology into clear-cut ideas and compelling viewpoints.
Working with business and research teams, I define surveys and reports that start conversations and fuel debate.
